Sermon preached on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Garden Valley Chapel during our Sunday morning service based on Genesis 1:9-13.

Take your Bible if you will and open it to the book of Genesis 1, Genesis chapter one.

We resume our study of creation, the account of creation and we look to the only authoritative account of creation given to us and that is in the first chapter of the first book of the Bible, the book of beginnings, Genesis.

Today we look at day three of creation where we shall see both division and growth as God majestically and powerfully prepares the earth for the creature God planned to make in His own image.

At the beginning of the day the face of the earth was covered with water. By the end of the day, it is a paradise of green-covered earth, decorated with all the hues of various flowers and trees, set in the midst of a beautiful blue ocean.

It is no wonder that God saw that it was good.

But let us look at this glorious day with its various happenings.

And with that, I invite you to stand in the hearing of God’s Word.

Read Genesis 1:1-13.
