On Saturday, September 21, 2013, I have the privilege of attending the 2013 Stand Firm Men’s Conference. This year’s focus is titled, “Men Transforming by God’s Gospel Grace.” Gold Country Baptist Church (Shingle Springs) and Grace Bible Church (Fair Oaks) are joining efforts to bring this much needed ministry and topic to the men in our area.

I’m looking forward to hearing Pastor Milton Vincent who is the keynote speaker for this conference. Pastor Milton has been serving as Pastor-teacher at Cornerstone Fellowship Bible Church for over 20 years.

The conference includes breakout sessions with local pastors teaching on various topics:

• “Loving Your Wife as Christ in the Gospels Loved the Church” – Pastor Robert Briggs (Immanuel Baptist, Sacramento)
• “Family Worship as a Means of Grace” – Pastor Verne Nakasone (Foothill Bible Church, Lincoln)
• “Gospel Power in Battling Lust” – Pastor David Torres (Garden Valley Chapel, Garden Valley)
• “The Gospel and Election” – Pastor Craig Hardinger (Arcade Church)

Join us this Saturday morning as we seek to be transformed “into the same image from glory to glory” (2 Cor 3:18) unto Christlikeness.Transformation begins at 7:30 a.m.
