2011 Father-son camp-out

I recently returned from the Father-son camp-0ut and although I am tired from the two-day, one-night event, I am so glad that we have this time set aside in the life of our church. It is one of the benefits of being a small church, one of the benefits of where we live, and one of the benefits of having a love for children. “Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward” (Psalm 127:3).
The kids have a blast at the camp-out and eagerly look forward to each year. Isaiah kept reminding me the morning of, “Dad it’s 10 o’clock, dad it’s 12 o’clock, dad it’s 2 o’clock, time to go!” Looking forward to more Father-son camp-outs, looking forward to hugging my children, and looking forward to enjoying these precious gifts God has bestowed upon our household – Isaiah, Emilia, Micah, and Eva.
